Job Summary 

Our Snack Bar Attendants ensure high quality, cost-effectiveness, compliance, and inventory control for all food & beverage workstations. They are responsible for the financial performance of the snack bar and the overall appearance of the operation.

The Snack Bar Attendant is responsible for the entire halfway house/snack bar food and beverage operation. This includes but is not limited to, preparing foods such as sandwiches, hot dogs, and wraps, stocking and selling snack items such as candy and chips, as well as preparing standard alcoholic beverages such as margaritas, single pours and mixers, in addition to serving beers and other canned beverages. 

This position needs a person who can self-manage and communicate with the kitchen and beverage team based on products and prep needs. Further, this individual maintains a clean, kitchen-safe environment for sanitary food and beverage operations. Speed is crucial in getting food and beverage into members hands in order to keep the game of golf moving at the appropriate pace. 

The operating hours of the halfway house/snack bar are 7:30am to 7:00pm Tuesday through Sunday. 

The club as a whole, hosts events property wide for a variety of occasions. Often times these events include individuals from different outlets to work as a team to make each even memorable and an experience for our members. 

Day-to-Day

• Create custom member and guest experiences by delivering exceptional hospitality.
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and organization in the assigned workstations.
• Comply with all safety and health department procedures, company and departmental policies/procedures, and state and federal liquor laws. Maintain Company Safety and Sanitation Standards.
• Practice good service recovery by rectifying any complaints as soon as possible.

About You

• 1 year food preparation/cooking experience
• 1 year bartending experience
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude 
• Adaptable to change – can solve problems through an open-minded and all-inclusive approach 
• Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment 
• Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills 
• Food Handler and Alcohol Server Certifications as required by State and City
• Previously completed a food and beverage training program
• Event prep and execution experience preferred
